Q. Do you offer in-home consultations?

We, absolutely, offer in-home consultations. We believe that trust is a key aspect of the decision-making process and the best way to build trust quickly is through transparency, which is best exhibited face-to-face.

Q. How long are your consultations?

Consultations, generally, do not last longer than about 30 minutes. If there are multiple windows that are being measured, it can take up to an hour.

Q. Can I install my own shades?

You can install your own shades, but I wouldn’t recommend it. When Hunter Douglas window coverings are purchased and installed by a Certified Hunter Douglas Installer, they come with the limited lifetime warranty by Hunter Douglas.

Q. Is there a minimum number of windows to set up a consultation or place an order?

Q. If I purchased my blinds from a different company, can you service them?

Sorry, but we are an exclusive Hunter Douglas dealer and we don’t carry other products or know how to service them.

Q. How long can I expect it to take to have my shades installed after purchase?

Currently, production lead times are terrific with the average lead time being 9-14 days, depending on the product. We calculate an additional week for transportation from the manufacturer and the expected time from order to install averages 20 days.

Q. Are you able to match existing shades in my house?

If the shades currently installed in your house are Hunter Douglas shades, and the fabric you selected is still being manufactured and in stock, yes, we can absolutely match the new shades to them.

Q. I'm not very design savvy, can you help me choose my next window treatment?

On almost every client engagement, we provide design input regarding the fabric and color selection for the home. Many times we engage one of our Interior Designers, at no additional cost, to help make design decisions.

Q. What brands and styles do you offer?

We are an exclusive Hunter Douglas Showcase Showroom carrying thousands of combinations of styles, fabrics and colors of Hunter Douglas window coverings.

Q. Which window coverings can be motorized?

The motorized window covering operations for Hunter Douglas window coverings is called Powerview. Currently, about 60% of all of the window coverings that we install are sold with the Powerview operation. It is available in, practically, every window covering option.

Q. Are your window treatments covered by a warranty?

Yes, there is a limited lifetime warranty on every product that Hunter Douglas sells and installs with our Certified Hunter Douglas Installer.

Q. What areas do you service?

We are centrally located in North Georgia in beautiful downtown Toccoa, Georgia. Most of our clients are homeowners with homes on Lake Burton, Lake Hartwell, Highlands, NC, Cashiers, NC and south to Jefferson, Georgia.

Q. Can you help me measure an odd-shaped window?

Most of the windows we measure are not standard, consistent windows. Yes, we regularly measure and provide unique, customized window coverings for windows that are irregularly shaped.
