When Chris and Terri chose to live full-time in Toccoa, they knew they had a wonderful community in North Georgia that would welcome them with open arms. So many businesses had been moving away from Toccoa in the past years, and they wanted to be an instrumental business in rebuilding historic downtown Toccoa and offering its residents a one-stop-shop for all things home.

By creating a small business in downtown Toccoa, they also wanted to help be a part of the movement to draw more people into the area and help continue to put Toccoa on the map. Toccoa is a fantastic location between Lake Burton, Lake Keowee, and Lake Hartwell, as well as being positioned in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. As more and more people began to leave the big-city life behind, they wanted to help grow Toccoa’s economy and help their city flourish with new life. Chris and Terri are incredibly proud to be a part of the amazing downtown Toccoa experience and share a space with many other incredible shop owners who make North Georgia a fantastic home.

Here’s an overview of what you can expect when you work with Georgia Window Coverings:

1. You can walk in, call, text, email, or complete a form on our website requesting a consultation to learn more about Hunter Douglas window coverings for your home or office.
2. We help you determine what kind of solution you need for your space.
3. We come to your home or office to measure the area.
4. You choose your shading solution with all of the custom details, including fabric type, color, and control preferences with the help of our professional design team so we can create an initial price quote.
5. Once the quote is accepted/agreed upon, we secure a deposit of 50% of your total and then send our installer for a formal/final measurement of the area.
6. We submit your custom window covering order to Hunter Douglas and report back to you on the progress of your order as it’s manufactured for your space and shipped. Once the shipment is en route, we will work with you to schedule your installation with our installer.
7. Once you’re satisfied with your installation, we’ll invoice you for the remaining half of the balance of the invoice we quoted.

• Full-Service Showroom: As a Hunter Douglas Showcase Showroom Centurion Dealer, our comprehensive showroom with product displays allows you to come into our showroom and experience our window treatments firsthand before making your purchase. From feeling the materials to seeing how flawlessly they operate, our gorgeous showroom in downtown Toccoa has been open to the public since October 2023, and we love showing our clients our product lines!
